La película “El gato de Schrödinger” se estrenará en VideoLooking


Nos complace poder anunciar que el largometraje “El gato de Schrödinger” se estrenará dentro del marco de actividades Videolooking, 1ª Muestra Audiovisual y Live Performance de L’Hospitalet, los días 23 y 24 de Noviembre de 2012.


“El gato de Schrödinger” es un proyecto dirigido por Carlos Marín y en el que desde la Associació Film&Art nos hemos implicado en la producción y desarrollo de mismo. Para poder llevar a cabo el rodaje, hemos tenido la suerte de poder contar con la colaboración de diversas entidades y jóvenes de la ciudad del Hospitalet.

La película cuenta la historia de Sergio, un joven periodista que lleva varios meses en busca de su amiga Alicia, una chica que desapareció en extrañas circunstancias, sin mucho éxito. Cuando Sergio, obsesionado por la idea de encontrarla, está a punto de tirar la toalla, recibe una pista de un extraño grupo de gente, que dice saber dónde se encuentra.

Sergio decide entonces retomar la investigación, adentrándose en un extraño mundo lleno de intrigas, conspiraciones y sectas secretas. Sus amigos Roel y Cristina le ayudarán en la investigación, llegando a desenterrar algunos oscuros secretos de la vida de Alicia por el camino.

Al finalizar el proceso, Sergio descubrirá cual es su verdadera identidad en todo este entramado e incluso acabará superando las leyes físicas convencionales, para terminar encontrando a Alicia y finalizar el ciclo que esta había comenzado.
Con este proyecto queremos demostrar y apoyar que en la actualidad existen diferentes formas viables de producir cine de calidad con pocos recursos, y como las creaciones cooperativas y los nuevos medios de distribución digitales, se están instaurando como alternativa a otros sistemas obsoletos.

"Schrödinger's Cat" will premiere in VideoLooking


We are pleased to announce that the feature film "Schrödinger's Cat" will be released within the framework of activities Videolooking, 1st Audiovisual Shows and Live Performance of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, the 23rd and November 24th.

"Schrödinger's Cat" is a project led by Carlos Marin and where from the Association of Film & Art we are involved in the production and development of the same. To carry out the shooting, we were lucky to count on the collaboration of various organizations and young people of the city of Hospitalet.
 
The film tells the story of Sergio, a young journalist who has spent several months looking for his girlfriend Alice, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances, without much success. When Sergio, obsessed with the idea of finding it, is about to give up, get a hint of a strange group of people who claims to know where it is.
 
Sergio then decides to resume the investigation, into a strange world full of intrigue, conspiracies and secret sects. His friends Roel and Cristina will help in the investigation, reaching unearth some dark secrets of the life of Alice by the way.
 
At the end of the process, which is Sergio discover his true identity through the show and even eventually surpassing conventional physical laws, finally finding Alice and end that cycle had begun.
 
With this project we want to prove and support that currently there are several viable ways to produce quality films with few resources, and also the work of cooperatives and new media digital distribution, are being adopted as an alternative to other systems outdated.

La asociación Film&Art, con el soporte del Servicio de Juventud (Concejalía de Deportes y Juventud), del Ayuntamiento de L’Hospitalet abre la convocatoria de Videolooking, 1ª Muestra Audiovisual y Live Performance de L’Hospitalet.

Pueden participar artistas, colectivos o galerías de arte tanto nacionales como internacionales.
Se aceptan obras en vídeo de carácter experimental, transgresor y que aporten ideas avanzadas al mundo audiovisual. La meta de esta muestra es difundir piezas con una clara intención artística e intelectual y apoyar proyectos alejados de la narrativa convencional, que no encuentren espacio en los medios de comunicación convencionales.

Se pueden enviar piezas de videoarte, videodanza, performance, cortometraje o videoclip experimental.

Se recomienda un máximo de 5 piezas por artista y una duración máxima de 5 minutos por obra, todo y que en caso de exceder este tiempo, se estudiara cada propuesta de forma individual.

Los formatos aceptados son AVI, MOV y MPG. Y deben enviarse junto al formulario de inscripción firmado


a la siguiente dirección antes del 1 de noviembre de 2012.

The goal of this exhibition is to spread pieces with a clear intent and support artistic and intellectual projects away from the conventional narrative, but find no space in the mainstream media.
 
You can send video art, video dance, performance, experimental short film or video clip.
We recommend a maximum of 5 pieces per artist and a maximum of 5 minutes work, everything and in case of exceeding this time, will consider each proposal individually.  
Acceptable formats are AVI, MOV and MPG. And should be sent together with the signed registration form

What is VideoLooking?


The association Film & Art, with the support of Youth Service (Department of Sports and Youth), L'Hospitalet City Council presented the project Videolooking, 1st Audiovisual Show and Live Performance of L'Hospitalet.
 
VideoLooking i is a sample audiovisual live performance of an international character, which serves as a platform to disseminate audiovisual risky proposals and Performing Arts where video plays a meaningful role as an element in the representation, supporting only proposals that often have no place in the mainstream media.
 
VideoLooking creates a synergy between curators, visual artists and other disciplines dealing festivals such as video art, video dance, performance art, VJing, live cinema, experimental film and video creation, to create a schedule attendance at an event to be held on 23 and November 24, 2012 in the Auditorium of Cultural Center of L'Hospitalet La Bòbila,La Bòbila, and including projections of the call selected videos, live performances vjing, performances and concerts of electronic music with visuals, and some through this virtual web platform and other social networks, where streaming video will be proceed and play.

¿Qué es VideoLooking?



La asociación Film&Art, con el soporte del Servicio de Juventud (Concejalía de Deportes y Juventud), del Ayuntamiento de L’Hospitalet presentan el proyecto  Videolooking, 1ª Muestra Audiovisual y Live Performance de L’Hospitalet.

VideoLooking es una muestra audiovisual i de performance en vivo de carácter internacional, que cumple la función de plataforma para difundir  propuestas arriesgadas audiovisuales y artes escénicas donde el vídeo cumpla un papel importante como elemento en la representación, apoyando exclusivamente propuestas que no suelen tener cabida en los medios de comunicación convencionales.

VideoLooking crea una sinergia entre galeristas, artistas audiovisuales y otros festivales que traten disciplinas tales como el videoarte, videodanza, performance, vjing, live cinema, cine experimental y video creación, para crear una programación presencial, en un evento que tendrá lugar los días 23 y 24 de noviembre de 2012 en el Auditorio del Centro Cultural La Bòbila de L’Hospitalet, y que incluirá, proyecciones de los vídeos seleccionados de la convocatoria, actuaciones en vivo de vjing, performance y conciertos de música electrónica con visuales,  y otra parte virtual a través de esta plataforma web y otras redes sociales, donde retransmitiremos en vídeo por streaming las actuaciones.

Estreno On-line del Cortometraje Nexo

Hoy estrenamos Nexo, el último trabajo escrito y dirigido por Carlos Marín. Nexo es un cortometraje que explica la historia de Dani, un joven solitario, superviviente a un holocausto de origen desconocido en el año 2013. Dani vaga por los pueblos y ciudades, buscando cobijo y algo de comida, y por supuesto, algún otro superviviente con el que poder compartir su vida. Dani lleva meses vagando sin rumbo y sin encontrar a nadie más. El desespero y la soledad comienzan a hacer mella en su espíritu, llevándole al delirio y a plantearse realmente su propia existencia dentro del asolador paisaje que le rodea.



El cortometraje ha sido rodado en Can Bonastre, una urbanización de la localidad de Piera. Está interpretado por Raúl Llopart, en el papel principal de Dani, y cuenta con la colaboración de Yolanda F.Chanca. A continuación os dejamos el link donde podréis disfrutarlo de forma completamente gratuita.
